I recently stayed at The Inn At Temple Street and found it a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chinatown, making it easy to explore. However, the room had a musty smell and felt outdated, which really affected my comfort. The service was friendly, but the lack of a lift made navigating the stairs with luggage a hassle.
Rooms

My room was quite small and had a strong musty odor. The decor felt tired and in need of refurbishment. Although it had air conditioning, it was older style and noisy, making it hard to sleep comfortably. The bathroom drainage didn’t work well either.
Service
5.0
The staff, including housekeeping, were friendly and polite, but I noticed a lack of enthusiasm among the front office team. They did their job but didn’t go above and beyond, which could use some improvement.

Being right in Chinatown, I loved the location! It was close to the MRT and surrounded by many dining options, including the hawker markets where I found tasty and cheap local dishes.

Facilities were basic; there was no lift, which made carrying luggage a challenge. However, there were dry cleaning and housekeeping services available.

I found The Inn At Temple Street to be quite a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chinatown, and very convenient for accessing the MRT and local attractions. However, the lack of elevator and porter service made it difficult, especially after a long journey, and the rooms were very small with poor ventilation. Overall, I appreciated the central location but felt the hotel needed significant improvement to be more comfortable.

I stayed at The Inn At Temple Street and found the experience to be a mixed bag. The location in Chinatown was fantastic, making it easy to explore and find local eats. However, the room had a strong musty smell and was smaller than I expected. The service was ok, but I could see some cleanliness issues that detracted from my stay.
Rooms

The room was quite small and had a noticeable odor that reminded me of old wood. It felt more like a basic accommodations than a boutique hotel. Although the sheets were changed daily, I still felt uneasy about the overall cleanliness.
Service

The front desk staff were helpful and welcoming, and I appreciated their effort in switching my room when I complained about the shower. They even offered a refund for one night, which was a nice touch, but the overall experience felt a bit lackluster.

The location was a highlight for me. It was in the heart of Chinatown, just a minute's walk from the MRT station, which was super convenient. There were plenty of food options around, so I had no shortage of places to grab a bite.
Dining

Dining options nearby were abundant, with plenty of local eateries. However, as the hotel itself doesn't offer any dining facilities, I'd recommend heading out for meals; the local street food was quite an experience!

The facilities were quite basic; there was no lift, and I had to haul my luggage up a flight of stairs. Basic amenities were provided, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel could use significant improvement.

I recently stayed at The Inn At Temple Street and found the location in Chinatown to be fantastic, with plenty of eateries and close proximity to the MRT. However, the hotel itself was quite worn, and my room was smaller than expected, with some housekeeping issues. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the lack of a lift was a significant drawback, especially with luggage.
Rooms

The room was quite small and lacked adequate space for my luggage. I wished for a table to place my coffee, but there simply wasn’t enough room. Additionally, the bedding was old, with some sheets showing holes, which was disappointing.
Service

The staff were friendly, but I felt like they didn’t offer much assistance. I did have some minor requests that were fulfilled, but overall, they didn’t go out of their way to help.
Location

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Chinatown with an array of dining options and very close to the MRT, making it easy to explore. I felt safe walking around even at night, which was a plus.
Dining

Dining options surrounding the hotel are plentiful, with local eateries offering delicious meals for under SGD 3. You can find lots of good places right at your doorstep.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacks a lift, which means you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. I noticed some furniture was grubby and the overall facilities could use an upgrade to enhance comfort.

My stay at The Inn At Temple Street was a mixed bag. The location in Chinatown is fantastic for exploring, but the room was quite cramped and had a musty smell due to poor ventilation. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, improvements in cleanliness and maintenance are necessary for a better experience.
Rooms

The room was not spacious enough for two cabin-sized luggage and had a persistent musty odor. I struggled with the cramped space, which was particularly uncomfortable.
Service
6.0
The receptionist was polite and offered some recommendations, although they weren't overly helpful. I would have appreciated more guidance on local attractions.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location in Chinatown is excellent, with easy access to the MRT and local dining options. However, being in such a busy area means it can get quite noisy, particularly with a room facing the street.
Dining
6.0
While breakfast wasn’t available at the hotel, there is a coffee shop across the street that opens early, which was quite convenient for me to grab a bite.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacked an elevator, which was a hassle for moving heavy baggage to the third floor. The general facilities felt outdated and in need of renovation.
